American Johannes Veerman celebrated a dream debut at the Nedbank Golf Challenge with his one-stroke victory at Gary Player Country Club after edging out South Africa’s Aldrich Potgieter in a thrilling finish.
Fab Five ready for ALFRED Dunhill test

INVESTEC SIGNS IVANNA SAMU
Investec, the leading international bank and wealth manager and long-time supporter of women’s and men’s golf, has announced its sponsorship of professional golfer, Ivanna Samu. Samu joins the ranks of Investec-sponsored professional players Nicole Garcia, Danielle Du Toit and Zethu Myeki in South Africa. A top-ranked junior and former No 1 senior amateur in South Africa, Samu turned pro in 2016. She started playing golf at 10, showing a passion for the game from a young age. Despite facing thyroid cancer and a serious back injury, she has emerged stronger, exemplifying the endurance of the human spirit.
NORRIS ends three-year drought to win GOLF NIPPON SERIES JT CUP
South Africa’s Shaun Norris produced a performance for the ages when he completed his fightback to win the Japan Golf Tour's (JGTO) season-ending Golf Nippon Series JT Cup with a final-round two-under-par 68. Norris’ four-day total of 12-under-par 268 saw the 42-year-old sign off his season with a two-shot victory over Naoyuki Kataoka at Tokyo Yomiuri Country Club.
Valiant Proteas clinch second at AACT in Morocco
Kesha Louw, Lisa Coetzer and Gia Raad overcame early challenges to rally to a runner-up finish behind the home heroes at Tazegzout Golf Club at the 2024 All Africa Challenge Trophy in Morocco in late November.

BAKER AND DA SILVA TRIUMPH IN MAURITIUS
Peter Baker edged out Simon Griffiths on the third sudden-death playoff hole after they both finished on 16 under par at the Legends Tour season finale at Constance Belle Mare Plage. Meanwhile, Adilson da Silva clinched the MCB Road to Mauritius title by finishing tie-7th, alongside Emanuele Canonica and Robert Coles. It was a case of third time’s a charm for Da Silva as he claimed the John Jacobs Trophy as the MCB Road to Mauritius No 1 after finishing second on the season-long points list the past two years.
CHALLENGE TOUR ANNOUNCES 2025 GLOBAL SCHEDULE
The Challenge Tour has announced its global schedule for the 2025 Road to Mallorca, with a record total prize fund of €9-million for the first time in its history. The 2025 Road to Mallorca schedule will consist of 29 tournaments staged across three continents in 18 different countries. The global Challenge Tour schedule begins in South Africa for the fifth consecutive year with the SDC Open at the end of January, the first of four co-sanctioned events with the Sunshine Tour.
SADGA OPENS DOORS FOR ALL
The South African Disabled Golf Association is excited to announce the launch of the SADGA Player Equipment Assistance Program for 2025! This initiative, made possible thanks to the generous support of the National Lotteries Commission (NLC), is designed specifically to support golfers with disabilities who need assistance to access the right equipment for their game.
